Zen with Yok

About

A teacher, still a student.

Hi, I'm Yok, a yoga teacher based in Bangkok.

I found yoga during a period in my life when I was struggling with my health, getting sick often, feeling lost, overwhelmed easily, and dealing with stress and emotional imbalance. At first, yoga became a space where I could slow down, breathe, and reconnect with myself. Over time, through consistent practice, I started noticing real changes, not only physically, but mentally and emotionally too. Yoga slowly became something that felt like medicine for me.

What began as a personal healing journey eventually grew into a passion for sharing movement and creating spaces where people can feel safe, supported, and more connected to themselves. In time, I decided to leave full-time work to pursue something that felt more fulfilling and meaningful to me.

I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, 30 hours of sequencing training, additional studies in the Science of Stretching, sound training from Shanika and Kind Garden, and various workshops including backbending and mobility-focused practices. My teaching style blends yoga, mobility, breathwork, mindful movement, and sound to create classes that are both grounding and energizing.

My classes are flowy, playful, and intentional, focused on helping people build strength, mobility, awareness, and connection rather than chasing perfection. I love creating experiences that feel approachable, calming, and real, whether through studio classes, private sessions, workshops, community events, or online content.

I offer classes for all levels, with each session adjusted to the needs, energy, and personal preferences of the students.

My intention is simple: to help people move better, feel better, and enjoy the process of being in their body.
